training
A full programme of training will be provided, which will include a mix of both theory and practice, allowing plenty of opportunity for skills development, particularly in active listening.
There will be pre-course reading and preparation prior to training. Training will take place at the ETNA Community Centre in Twickenham on the following dates and it is a course requirement that you attend all sessions, induction and complete a safeguarding module.
Thursday 16 April 7pm-9pm
Thursday 23 April 10am-4pm
Thursday 7 May 10am-4pm
Thursday 21 May 10am-4pm
Thursday 4 June 10am-4pm
The cost of the full training is £300 which is payable ahead of the course. We do recognise that there are circumstances where the cost of training may be prohibitive. Where this would be a barrier, we can offer a reduced fee.
register
Please register your interest to recruitment@space2grieve.org.uk.
Completed applications to be returned by March 13th 2026.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 19th March and Wednesday 1st April 2026 at ETNA Community Centre.
NB. As we are a small charity, we are unable to consider students wishing to volunteer as part of a counselling course as we are not in a position to offer placements.
