we would like to say a big thank you to our fantastic runners who completed the Richmond Half Marathon on September 10, 2023

We couldn’t be prouder of Claire, Deb and John, and Joe, Theo and Joe, who ran in brutally hot conditions from the Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew to  Old Deer Park in Richmond. Together, they raised an amazing £3,600 for space2grieve.

On such a blisteringly hot day, it was a great relief to see everyone cross the finish line safe and sound – and to see all those smiles too!

We would also like to give a special mention to Robin Wooldridge, Joe’s dad, who glibly said he would donate £5 for every minute Joe and Theo finished ahead of him – Robin donated £375 after the race and has vowed to put in more training next time!

If you’d like to help space2grieve raise money with your own fundraising challenge, please contact us at fundraise@space2grieve.org.uk. We’d love to hear from you.

if you’ve been bereaved, no matter when, no matter how, space2grieve can support you.
